Golden Temple is the most Sacred place for Sikhism. It is among the 5 ‘Takhats’ Gurdwaras.
It is located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Sikhism was founded by Guru Nanak dev ji, and he was descended by 9 other Gurus. The final guru, guru Gobind singh ji gave the Religion a formal name “Sikh”.
Sikhism is all about selfless living, believing in one God/creator, no idol worship, no superstitions, no caste/creed/sex discretions, and simple living.
